Rohm and Haas taps Extensity for global travel expense reporting
EMERYVILLE, California (November 11, 2002) - Rohm and Haas has signed an agreement with Extensity, a provider of Employee Relationship Management (ERM) solutions, to deploy Extensity’s Employee Relationship Management (ERM) solution for global travel reporting.
"As a large Fortune 500 company with a significant international presence, we needed an expense reporting system that was intuitive to use and could easily handle requirements such as value added tax, per diem support, and multi-language capabilities," said Henry Good, Director of Insurance and Travel. "We were impressed with Extensity's product functionality and global capabilities." Under the terms of the agreement, Rohm and Haas will deploy Extensity's ASP model and will roll out to multiple countries. The ASP model is designed to allow companies to benefit from Extensity's applications without hosting the suite in-house. "In this economic climate, large enterprise customers are only purchasing products from vendors they feel are viable and experienced," said Bob Spinner, CEO of Extensity. "In the case of Rohm and Haas, it was important to them to select an expense report vendor that could draw on extensive past successes and experience, particularly in the international realm. Extensity brings to the table our knowledge from implementations similar in size and scope to the Rohm and Haas relationship and we look forward to a successful implementation."
