DuPont selects CheMatch as auction solution provider for direct material needs
WILMINGTON, Delaware (June 18, 2001) – DuPont has selected CheMatch to provide a full suite of solutions via CheMatch Auctions.

According to the partnering companies, DuPont has conducted a dozen auctions, on both the sell and buy side, with CheMatch during the 2nd Quarter across bulk chemicals and polymer products.

"We continue to look for solutions to enhance and improve our ability to serve our customers and to further improve our efficiency," said Blair Althouse of DuPont e-business. "CheMatch is a good source for those solutions."

CheMatch Auctions is designed as a full service for buyers and sellers of chemicals, plastics, fuel products and other commodity-like products. In addition, CheMatch assists customers with; strategically determining optimal areas for the use of auctions; designing auction events; finding and preparing participants for the auction events; training, supporting and servicing auction event initiators and participants; executing the actual auction event; and gathering and providing feedback and analysis post-event.
